    Pad-Mounted Transformer

A ground-level, enclosed transformer designed for underground distribution systems. Features a dead-front design for public safety.

Pad-mounted transformers are the standard for North American underground residential distribution (URD). Dead-front design means all live parts are enclosed and not accessible without tools. Key standards: ANSI/IEEE C57.12.34 for three-phase, C57.12.25 for single-phase. UL 1561 listing is mandatory in most US jurisdictions. Sizes range from 75 kVA (single-phase residential) to 10 MVA (commercial/industrial). Tamper-resistant cabinet with pentahead bolts. ETS is one of the few non-North American manufacturers with UL-listed pad-mounted transformers.
